Financial Analyst Job Description:
American Discovery Capital is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to join our team at our Westwood Gateway headquarters in Los Angeles. In this role, you will support both ADC’s M&A advisory and private equity investment activities, working closely with senior bankers and investment professionals across multiple transactions.
Financial Analysts play an integral role on deal teams and are involved in all stages of the transaction process, including financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and preparation of client and investor materials. The position offers meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to senior partners and clients.

Qualifications:
- Strong academic track record
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred, but not required (Investment Banking, Private Equity, Finance, Accounting, or Management Consulting)
- Corporate finance and/or financial modeling experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
- High integrity, maturity, and sound judgment
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, and transaction models
- Prepare client presentations and marketing materials, including confidential information presentations, management presentations, and investor materials
- Conduct industry, company, and financial research to support transaction execution and business development
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions and capital raises, including preparation of diligence materials and coordination with clients, investors, and advisors
- Support due diligence processes, including data room management, financial analysis, and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors
- Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior bankers
- Assist in preparing materials for private equity investment evaluation and portfolio company monitoring
- Support new business development and origination efforts, including preparation of pitch materials and industry analyses
